The main purpose of this tool is to modify or give a particle system attributes without redoing the simulation. This can be used to fix and shape simulations for particular requests where a few points don't fit the shot and the rest is accepted by the director. It also keeps track of each selection you do and it will keep the live and modifiable. Under the history tab the modifications can be edited, deleted and hidden for further inspection of the scene. The syntax are just python sets. (Might be a subject for change later) To deactivate pop up dialogs you can either set an environment varialbe called POWERUSER with value of 1 or set a variable in Houdini named POWERUSER with the value of 1. The name of variable can be changed. It is a hidden string on the asset itself called verbose (Please enter no '$' if you change the value). Please note that you have to hit the select button before you do the selection. Not the other way around.
