## Principled Diffuse BSDF The principled shader introduced a new, highly controllable diffuse model to Houdini. This tool adds the prinsicipled diffuse bsdf as a vop for use in building your own custom shaders. Previously, using this model was limited to the prinicipled shader, or writing your own code that called cvex_bsdf(). #### Parameters All parameters are identical to the subset of parameters controlling diffuse in the principled shader. - Base Color - The color of the diffuse reflection. - Roughness - Controls the contrast of the shading. - Subsurface - A fake subsurface appearance to the shading. - Sheen - Adds a light-wrapped look, similar to cloth. - Sheen tint - Mixes the base color into the sheen reflection color.
